The City of Love
It is no wonder why Paris is nicknamed ‘The City of Love’. All you have to do is view the city from high up the iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower, or walk down the beautiful Champs-Élysées with its magnificent shops, cafes, gardens and statues, to see how wonderful the city is. Even the stone-hearted are won over in this town.
With impressive landmarks, including the above, l’Arc de Triomphe and the famous Notre Dame Cathedral, you won’t be stuck for things to go and see. Intricate designs and architecture across these attractions means that this is a particularly pleasing town for the more artistic person. As well as the famous monuments, there are some excellent museums in the French Capital, as you would expect from a country which has bred so many world-renowned artists. On my trips there I have visited the Musee du Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and Musee Rodin, to name a few, and it has to be said that all three of these are beyond impressive. My personal favourite and...
