While in Peru we explored the Machu Picchu Viajes from the nail-biting bus ride up the mountain to standing atop the walkways and gazing at the Incan city and the surrounding peaks, Machu Picchu is worth the time and money it takes to get there.
The ruins were spectacular and easy to explore. The lunch buffet at the entrance to the site offered a delicious variety of meats, fish, vegetables and desserts. Machu Picchu is a must if you are in Cusco. A wonderful city built by the Incas. The tour guides do a good job. You can hire one once in Machu Picchu.
We also visited the Cusco Historic Center it was wonderful and my only regret is insufficient time to explore all of the sites. our guide was great and we saw the main highlights, their were plenty of restaurants to choose from.
